Just so you know, you can upload up to 4 images per post. Linking to discord uploads makes the site significantly less pleasant to browse and while it's not against the rules to link to third party content, if you're just gonna link images you might as well just upload them. Users are much more likely to look at the content this way.

I more or less agree. While I do have nostalgia, I think a lot of people think oldweb is always better because old. I don't think it's really that simple. If you're creating new things yourself independently, it doesn't matter if they have old vibes or not.

But... the web being an open space for independent creators is something of an old idea and in that sense we are all hearkening back regardless of what we create.

If it became difficult to moderate, I would shut it down immediately. Ideally as the community scaled to being difficult to moderate, there would also be people that would want to be moderators who would make it doable.
